This role will be responsible for Control and lead base maintenance check, modification and repairs leading a limited number of structure/ composite technicians. Certify all related assigned task in structure/composite under in house scope of approvals.
Accountabilities
- Lead and/or perform repair and modification of both internal and external aircraft structure in accordance with Technical Manuals, Engineering drawing, Engineering Orders and manufacturing Specifications.
- Report to structure/ composite Manager/Lead engineer and is responsible for the completion of all assigned task with acceptable standards in relation to airworthiness and safety.
- Responsible for the control and performance of a group of assigned technical staff.
- Ensure that all aircraft documentation related to his work/project is completed and signed progressively.
- Ensure compliance to safety regulations and safe working practice procedures.
- Ensure compliance to tool control procedures and material control procedure.
- Working to high standards of housekeeping and FOD control
Education & Experience
- High school leaving certificate /or Education to University /college degree with Valid Aircraft License UAE GCAA or EASA License and Apprenticeship with Airline or 145 organization or equivalent organization OR Aviation based Diploma.
- Must possess 6+ years of strong structural/ composite Aircraft Maintenance experience preferably with MRO and/or airlines maintenance.
