Base Maintenance is at the heart of ensuring aircraft safety, reliability, and operational excellence. Our highly skilled maintenance team performs a wide range of aircraft maintenance activities, from scheduled inspections and defect rectification to major repairs and component replacements across modern fleets.
As an Aircraft Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining aircraft by carrying out maintenance tasks in accordance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Working under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will contribute to the safe, efficient, and timely return of aircraft to service while developing your technical expertise across relevant trade and cross-trade disciplines.
Our team excels in timely, cost-effective solutions for various checks, engine change, and landing gear changes, along with unscheduled maintenance and pre-service checks.
- Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
- Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
- Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
- Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
- Develop one self and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
- Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
- Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
- Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the companies ethos
- Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached
- Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective
Experience and Qualifications:
- High School leaving Certificate / or Diploma
- Served an apprenticeship with an airline/ approved organization, or have received an equivalent formal training
- At least 5 years of experience in Aircraft maintenance including hands-on experience working in relevant trade A &C, Avionics, Components, Structure with maintenance
