Job Highlights:
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-driven Airfield Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all ground-side activities related to aircraft movement, maintenance, and operational readiness. This role is critical to ensuring that airfield operations meet international aviation safety standards and run smoothly across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all airfield operations (takeoff, landing, maintenance) comply with international aviation safety standards.
- Manage aircraft ground movement and coordinate with crew to guide aircraft to correct parking positions.
- Collaborate with maintenance, safety, and security teams to ensure seamless operational execution.
- Coordinate aircraft readiness for flights, including fueling, cargo handling, and baggage arrangements.
- Monitor airfield conditions and enforce safety procedures including lighting, signage, and cleanliness.
- Oversee functionality and maintenance of ground equipment and ensure operational efficiency.
- Supervise inspection and servicing of airfield tools and vehicles (e.g., excavators, maintenance units, passenger transport carts).
- Ensure readiness of ground systems such as lighting and signaling and establish inspection protocols.
- Coordinate emergency procedures with safety and rescue teams, ensuring preparedness for incidents.
- Monitor daily airfield activities to prevent security breaches or operational violations
Requirements:
- Diploma in Aviation, Engineering, or related field
- 34 years in airfield or ground operations
- Fluency in Arabic and English
