Airless Spray Painter

Lefebvre Engineering FZC is looking for an experienced Airless Spray Painter to join our fabrication team, applying high-quality protective coatings to structural steel and fabricated components.

Experience:

•    Minimum 3–5 years of experience in airless spray painting of structural steel, fabricated components, trailers, tanks, or heavy equipment

•    Experience with epoxy primers, zinc-rich primers, polyurethane (PU) topcoats, and enamel paint systems

Skills & Responsibilities:

•    Operate and maintain airless spray painting equipment (Graco, Wagner, or equivalent)

•    Surface preparation, including cleaning, degreasing, masking, and touch-up

•    Mix paints and thinners as per the manufacturer's Technical Data Sheet (TDS)

•    Apply primer and finish coats to the specified Dry Film Thickness (DFT)

•    Check wet film thickness (WFT) and DFT using appropriate gauges

•    Identify and rectify paint defects such as runs, sags, orange peel, pinholes, and dry spray

•    Follow paint manufacturer's application procedures and safety requirements

•    Maintain housekeeping and equipment after completion of work
