We are looking to hire a Senior Analyst – Business Operations Systems who will be responsible for leading the implementation, integration, and operational management of mission-critical airport systems across terminal operations, airfield operations, and baggage handling for our client based in Dubai — which is one of the largest companies in the region.
This position is long term contract and is renewable on an annual basis.
The role sits within the Technology and Operations Department and reports directly to the Manager - Business Systems
We are looking for a passionate Senior Analyst – Business Systems who can drive seamless airport operations through the delivery and optimization of critical airport systems while supporting digital transformation initiatives across the organization. You should also have strong experience in airport systems implementation, operational technology integration, AI/ML-driven automation, and stakeholder/vendor management within the aviation industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and integration of terminal, airfield, and baggage systems such as AODB, RMS, BHS, BRS, CUPPS, CUSS, and FIDS
- Ensure operational systems maintain uninterrupted 24/7 functionality with strong focus on system reliability, incident response, and business continuity planning
- Develop scope of work documents, execution plans, commissioning documents, and training materials for airport systems projects
- Prepare and coordinate system testing plans, UAT scenarios, test cases, and end-user training with vendors and stakeholders
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through the implementation of AI, Machine Learning, automation, and predictive analytics to improve passenger flow and operational efficiency
- Support seamless interoperability across airport systems including security, passenger services, baggage operations, and flight operations
- Manage lifecycle upgrades, migrations, and ensure alignment with cybersecurity, compliance, and aviation regulatory standards
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including AOCC, baggage operations, airside teams, IT, and leadership, as well as external vendors and regulatory bodies
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Aviation Management (Master's degree preferred)
- 7–10 years of overall experience with at least 7 years of relevant experience in airport operations systems or aviation IT
- Strong knowledge of terminal systems such as CUTE/CUPPS, CUSS, FIDS, BRS, and security screening systems
- Strong knowledge of airfield systems such as AODB, RMS, Airport Surveillance, Surface Movement Systems, and Gate Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of baggage systems such as BHS, SCADA, BRS, and airline DCS integrations
- Experience with Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACDM), ORAT, terminal readiness programs, and digital commissioning
- Proven experience leading AI/ML initiatives, automation projects, and operational planning improvements
- Strong project management, cross-functional leadership, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with aviation standards such as IATA, ICAO, ACI, and ITSM frameworks such as ITIL
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills
