Alghanim Academy - Design & Estimation Engineer, Kirby (Full-time opportunity)

Job Summary

To estimate the value of project being tendered as part of business development.

Perform design and prepare engineering drawings and documentation as per customer's/project requirements. Provide technical support and/or propose alternative technical solutions to meet customer's requirements. Compilation and submission of all documentation as required as per the project requirements. Should also showcase their ability to analyze and mitigate potential risks, and their commitment to innovation and improvement in product performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Produce a safe and optimized design for PEB buildings based on required codes & project specifications.
• The design should be cover STD codes, design guide lines and manufacture limitation for Kirby.
• All of the output from design tools should converted in the estimation program LHE (Long hand estimate program).
• Release the estimate or send the design files to higher level to check as per given limits for each position.

Prepare proposal drawings for simple buildings by MBS & check the proposal drawings which prepared by drafting with the project requirements and estimate.

Candidate Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• Full knowledge to design codes, all of design tools & pricing system.
• Hard working, self-motivated person and flexible attitude.
• Familiarity with CAD software
• Good knowledge of MS Office competent (Including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
