Job Description
e are looking for an ambitious, results-driven aluminium product sales specialist to join our team. You will be primarily responsible for developing and growing our customer portfolio in a specific geographical area or within a specific business sector. They will focus on selling our range of aluminium products (e.g. coils, rods, sheets, extrusions, glass and aluminium systems for building facades, door and window products) to potential and existing customers. The primary goal is to achieve and exceed specific sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the company's continued growth.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Sales development: - Seek out new customers and identify potential market opportunities through field visits, telephone calls, professional networking and participation in trade shows.
Customer portfolio management: Build and develop long-term relationships with existing customers and gain a deep understanding of their needs to ensure their satisfaction and increase our market share.
Presentations and negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations to customers, highlighting the advantages and added value of our products. Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment to reach mutually beneficial deals.
Technical knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the properties and products of aluminium (gauge, grades, finishes) and their applications in sectors such as construction, industry, transport, and manufacturing.
Order tracking:** Follow up on orders with the internal sales and operations teams to ensure they are fulfilled correctly and on time, and communicate with the customer about the status of their order.
Market monitoring: Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and raw material prices (e.g. global aluminium price) to provide regular reports to management and propose effective sales strategies.
