Role Description The Aluminum Technical Office Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi. This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing aluminum shop drawings, coordinating with design and site teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications. The role includes preparing and updating bills of quantities (BOQ), conducting quantity take-offs, and supporting cost estimation for aluminum works. The engineer will liaise with civil and electrical engineering teams to integrate aluminum systems into overall project designs and resolve technical issues. Daily tasks also involve documentation, reporting, and close collaboration with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain timelines and quality standards. The job also includes work orders for fabrication so a background in this area is a must.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Shop Drawings preparation and review for aluminum structures, façades and doors / windows.
• Candidates should possess skills in BOQ development and Quantity Surveying for aluminum-related materials and works.
• Candidates should possess knowledge in Civil Engineering to coordinate structural requirements and installation details.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in aluminum fabrication, façades, curtain wall, doors / windows projects, preferably in a technical office environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software and relevant design tools, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organized technical documentation.
