We have an exciting opportunity of AM Planning for our FMCG Client based in Dubai.
Job Title: AM Planning
Location: Jebel Ali, Dubai
Reporting to: Planning Mgr
Qualification: BE (Mechanical) + MBA (Preferred from NITIE)
Job Responsibilities:
To prepare weekly production plans and to ensure implementation of those plans in coordination with external agencies.
Production Plans:
- Assist in creating average/weekly production plans, taking forecasting error into account
- Plan Production skew to meet demand fluctuations
- Generate procurement plans with appropriate lead times for purchasing
- Communicate changes in production/dispatch plans to relevant teams in a timely manner.
- Provide plan to production based on capacity and demand.
Follow up
- Follow up with Production to ensure that production is being carried out as per plan.
- Collaborate with production team to resolve any issues or bottlenecks affecting plan execution.
Report Generation
- Create and maintain various reports related to planning data and plan implementation
- Analyse data to identify trends and provide insights for decision making.
Coordination
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders including Marketing, Factories and Packaging to facilitate the implementation of the Production Plan.
- Work closely with Distribution to adjust production plans based on sales data
Inventory Management
- Assist in managing inventory levels to maintain average inventory within target range.
- Monitor inventory data and provide updates on inventory status
