Role Overview:

The AML Specialist will ensure that all AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies and practices align with regulatory requirements, particularly those set by SAMA and other relevant authorities. This role is crucial in upholding our commitment to compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain AML/CFT policies and due diligence procedures in line with regulations.

Advise teams on AML/CFT compliance and support in reporting suspicious transactions.

Deliver training programs to ensure staff are aware of their AML obligations.

Create risk-based AML guidelines tailored to business needs, identifying and managing high-risk areas.

Conduct internal self-assessments and address compliance gaps.

Ensure timely responses to regulatory updates and official requests.

Lead investigations into suspicious activities and ensure effective customer due diligence and internal controls.

Requirements:

Education & Skills:

Bachelor's degree.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to draft, revise, and recommend policies and procedures.

Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Deep understanding of financial and operational compliance frameworks.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Experience:

35 years of relevant experience in AML or compliance roles.

Other Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Hands-on attitude and a collaborative mindset.
