Job Description

Job Summary

The role involves daily monitoring and analysis of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement to explain significant variances, along with the preparation of various management reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to support senior management decision-making. The candidate will also be responsible for developing monthly and annual P&L forecasts, supporting ALM activities through report preparation, and assisting with the implementation of new Asset Liability Management systems. Additionally, the role includes developing customer and product profitability reports, preparing segment-level financial statements with FTP analysis, conducting peer group industry analysis, and contributing to investor presentation decks. The position also entails enhancing management information reports across the bank, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies, and collaborating with the BI team to automate reporting processes.

Main Accountabilities (Maximum Of 10)

  • Daily monitoring and controls and providing explanations on any significant variance in the Balance Sheet and Income Statement daily
  • Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and Quarterly Management repo1ts to support Senior Management team decision process by analyzing financial perfo1mance
  • Preparation of monthly and yearly P&L forecast
  • Support Head of ALM through preparation of ALCO reports and Balance sheet management analysis
  • Assist on need basis in the implementation of a new Asset Liability Management system
  • Assist in development and implementation of Customer Profitability and Product Profitability reports within the Bank
  • Prepare monthly segment level financial statement with FTP analysis and circulate to business heads
  • Prepare peer group analysis on a quarterly basis to provide insights into competitors performance and trends in the local banking industry
  • Assist in development and preparation of investors presentation deck on a quarterly basis
  • Assist to enhance management information reports of the Bat1k and its businesses and liaison/assist other divisions for Management information reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures to mitigate financial and business risks
  • In conjunction with the Bl team, initiate automation of reports

Basic Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Banking Experience in Finance is a must
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant banking experience in a Finance function

Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and management accounting within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools; experience with automation and BI tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
