This role sits within the investment team of a private equity firm with a permanent capital structure, investing across private and public markets in high-quality and deep-value businesses spanning the full capital spectrum. The Analyst or Associate will support deal origination, execution, and portfolio monitoring with a focus on secondaries and co-investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse secondaries and co-investment opportunities
- Build financial and valuation models to support investment decisions
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal review
- Support deal execution processes from initial screening through to close
- Maintain and update deal pipeline tracking
- Monitor portfolio company performance on an ongoing basis
- Engage with fund managers and sponsors as part of deal and relationship activity
- Track private equity market trends and relevant developments
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Up to three years of relevant full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, or a closely related area
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CFA, CAIA, or a comparable qualification — or demonstrated progress toward one — is an advantage
