Job Description
1. JOB PURPOSE
Support the Manager and Senior Manager with execution of individual workstreams related with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, equity and debt capital market transactions, and others across the ADNOC group (HQ and Group Companies).
Support maintaining an adequate investment governance framework and ensure the execution of projects is in adherence with relevant processes and guidelines.
Support delivery of performance scorecard.
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job Specific
Significant Investments
u2022 Conduct modelling and analysis activities, in support of the execution-stage deals.
u2022 Provide wide range support during corporate transactions, including, financial modelling, due diligence, and other value creation work streams.
u2022 Support the Manager and Senior Manager in drafting investment stream documentation, detailed placement memorandums, and all service tender efforts.
u2022 Support in the preparation of relevant marketing materials.
Investment Governance
u2022 Present and provide advice regarding financial models towards relevant internal stakeholders.
u2022 Ensure all finalised project/deal financial models are internally consistent and quality assured, in line with the Group Economic Evaluation Guidelines.
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with internal/external members of deal execution teams, acting as a focal point for operational deal related matters (e.g. gathering information, scheduling meetings, etc.).
Generic
Supervision
u2022 Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
u2022 Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.
Budgets
u2022 Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
u2022 Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
u2022 Implement approved Function / Division / Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.
u2022 Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.
Performance Management
u2022 Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function / Division / Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
u2022 Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
u2022 Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
u2022 Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business Administration / Finance / Accounting.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
u2022 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial modelling, mergers and acquisitions, commercial/ trading, business development, capital markets
Professional Certifications
u2022 CPA, ACCA, CFA preferred
