ANALYST, IT APPLICATIONS

JOBPURPOSE:

Develop,maintainandenhanceIT Applications todeliver quality andcost-effectiveinformationservicestomeetcompany'sbusiness requirements. Designandimplemententerprise solutionsforthee-LearningsetupatATA.Analyzeuser requirements,developprototypesandprovide training toendusers. Resolve technicalissuesbetweenATAandADNOCwiththeinfrastructureteams.Maintain theconfiguration,integrationandthedeploymentofthesoftwaresystemsatATAinlinewithADNOCITpoliciesandprocedures.

• Conductperiodiccapacityplanningforapplicationsystemsandensureallsystemsresourcesare adequateforcurrent andfuture needs.

• Implementmodificationsandenhancementstoexistingapplicationsandcarryoutrequiredtestingto

ensurethattheapplicationscontinuetomeetthebusinessrequirements.

• Confirmprojectrequirementby reviewingapplicationobjective,inputdataand outputrequirementwithstakeholder.

• Arrangeprojectrequirementinprogramingsequencesbyanalyzingrequirement.

• Prepareaworkflowchartanddiagramusingknowledgeofcomputercapabilities,subjectmatter, programminglanguageandlogic.

• Encodeprojectrequirementsbyconvertingworkflowinformationintocomputerlanguage.

• Confirmapplicationoperationbyconductingtests.Modifyapplicationsequenceand/orcodes.

• Developnecessarycheckstatementsto ensureconsistencyandintegrityofdata and processingand enableearlyidentificationof problems andbugs,exception, andits immediateresolution.

• Liaisewithconcernedpartiestobuild,test.release,anddeploychanges.

• Prepareusermanuals.

• Maintainhistoricalrecordsbydocumentingapplicationdevelopmentandrevisions.

• Monitorapplicationsperformanceandconductperiodicsystemstuningandimprovement.

• Coordinateandmanageincidentthroughouttheincidentlifecycle.

• Designandimplemententerprisesolutions.

• CommunicatewithSubjectMatterExpert(SMEs)anddesignbusinessmodels.

• Translatebusinessrequirementsintotechnicalrequirements.

  • Implement approved Department/ Sectionpolicies, processes, systems,standardsand proceduresinorder tosupport execution of the Department/ Section's work programsin linewith Companyand International standards.

  • Complywithallapplicablelegislationandlegalregulations.

  • Contribute to the achievement of theapproved Performance Objectives fortheDepartment/ Section inlinewiththeCompany Performance framework.

  InnovationandContinuousImprovement

  • Designand implement newtoolsandtechniques toimprovethequality andefficiency ofoperationalprocesses.

  • Identifyimprovementsininternalprocessesagainstbestpracticesinpursuitofgreaterefficiencyinline

  MinimumQualification

  • Bachelor'sDegreeinIT/ComputerScienceorequivalentprofessionalqualification.

  MinimumExperience&Knowledge&Skills!

  • 6 yearsofexperience,a related field,preferablyintheoil/gasindustry,includingexperienceinanalysis,design, programming,toolsand technologies relevanttoapplication development.

  • Experiencewithwebbasedarchitectureforapplicationdevelopment.
