Analytics Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer (AWS) to join a data & analytics project and contribute to the design of scalable analytics solutions within the AWS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Query and transform large-scale datasets using Amazon Athena, Redshift, S3 and AWS Glue Data Catalog
• Design and maintain scalable analytical data models
• Build Star Schemas, SCD tables and incremental data models
• Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, views, CTEs and window functions
• Optimize analytical workloads through partition pruning, query tuning and schema optimization
• Develop ETL/data transformation pipelines using Python (pandas, boto3)
• Develop and maintain enterprise Tableau dashboards
• Define semantic layers, KPIs, metrics and metadata mappings
• Create data stories, executive dashboards and drill-through analytics
• Support self-service BI and data-driven decision-making

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Data Stack: Redshift, Athena, S3, Glue
• Advanced SQL skills
• 2+ years of hands-on Python experience, especially pandas and boto3
• Strong understanding of Data Modeling
• Experience with Star Schema, SCD and incremental data models
• Knowledge of Parquet / ORC columnar formats
• Experience with AWS IAM and data-access controls
• Proven experience developing enterprise dashboards with Tableau
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
