Analyzer Technician

Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification/engineering of a wide range of on‑line analyzers and associated equipment.
• Receive daily work schedules and instructions from the resident engineer/supervisor – analyzers. Obtain approved permit to work, necessary tools, and spare parts to carry out jobs. Ensure all work is completed according to specific instructions, applicable work methods, and QHSE standards.
• Perform routine predictive and preventive maintenance checks on various on‑line analyzers and associated equipment. Conduct verification tests and test runs after maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Carry out major shutdown maintenance or engineering work.
• Install new on‑line analyzers and associated equipment as directed. Execute equipment and system modifications per instructions from the resident engineer – analyzers.
• Maintain a maintenance logbook, recording details of work carried out/completed including defaults, problems, findings, and equipment/system conditions.
• Comply with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct all work activities safely and responsibly. Avoid unsafe tasks and consult supervisor/engineer if in doubt.
• Attend HSE meetings and participate in Company QHSE promotional programs.
• Report all accidents, incidents, or near misses to supervisor/manager or QHSE Department.
• Perform other similar or related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

• 3‑year full‑time Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation from a recognized engineering college/university.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years experience in maintenance of on‑line analyzers in the Oil & Gas industry.
