Position: Anesthesiologist
Job Summary
We are seeking qualified and experienced Anesthesiologists to join a leading hospital/healthcare facility in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and high-quality anesthesia care, perioperative management, pain management, and critical patient monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients before surgery and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia as clinically indicated.
- Monitor patients vital signs and physiological status throughout surgical procedures.
- Manage airway and respiratory complications during anesthesia.
- Provide perioperative care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Manage post-operative pain and contribute to enhanced recovery protocols.
- Respond effectively to medical and anesthesia-related emergencies.
- Perform procedures such as intubation, arterial line placement, and other anesthesia-related interventions as required.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, intensivists, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation.
- Participate in emergency services, on-call duties, and departmental activities.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology.
- Relevant clinical experience in anesthesiology.
- Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Good knowledge of modern anesthesia techniques and perioperative care.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
