We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join our finance team at our 10th of Ramadan City plant. In this role, you will manage vendor accounts, ensure precise payment processing, reconcile supplier balances, and maintain compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and internal controls.

• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and match supplier invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports (3-way matching) in the ERP system.
• Payment Execution: Prepare payment schedules, wire transfers, check payments, and letters of credit in line with vendor terms and company cash flow priorities.
• Vendor Management: Maintain accurate supplier ledger accounts, perform monthly account reconciliations, and resolve balance discrepancies.
• Tax Compliance: Apply correct Egyptian tax rules (e.g., Withholding Tax - WHT, VAT) on vendor invoices and prepare relevant tax schedules for regulatory reporting.
• Month-End Closing: Assist in monthly financial close activities by preparing AP accruals, aging reports, and journal entries.
• Internal Audit & Controls: Ensure all disbursements adhere to delegation of authority policies and internal financial controls.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 years of progressive experience as an Accounts Payable Accountant, preferably within the manufacturing, industrial, or electrical engineering sector.
• ERP Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of local Egyptian tax laws, WHT, and VAT requirements.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis formulas).
• Languages: Business fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).

• High attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data processing.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills for vendor interactions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities to meet tight closing deadlines.
