Application Architect

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect with 8+ years of experience in application, solution, or enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing application architectures, ensuring alignment with business capabilities, and supporting digital transformation initiatives, particularly within banking or financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain enterprise application architecture standards and target architectures.

Design scalable, secure, and high-performing application architectures.

Guide development teams on architecture best practices and design patterns.

Ensure effective integration between enterprise applications and platforms.

Ensure alignment between business capabilities and application landscape.

Support modernization initiatives and digital transformation programs.

Govern application lifecycle and ensure architecture compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in application, solution, or enterprise architecture.

Strong experience in application architecture within banking or financial services.

Mandatory knowledge of TOGAF framework.

Expertise in application architecture design, microservices & API architecture, integration architecture, application portfolio management, and cloud-native architectures.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

Experience with Bizzdesign or similar architecture tools.

Familiarity with BIAN banking architecture framework.
