Job Summary

IRISS is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Application Engineer to support business development, technical sales, project execution, and customer support activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical solutions, conducting field assessments, supporting condition monitoring programs, and providing expert guidance on reliability and predictive maintenance technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers and the sales team for condition monitoring and reliability solutions.
  • Review customer inquiries, RFQs, and technical specifications to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams.
  • Conduct site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments at customer facilities.
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting related to condition monitoring activities.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
  • Support project implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and post-sales activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective technical support and consultation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations for clients.
  • Travel within Saudi Arabia and GCC countries as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in application engineering, reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, or condition monitoring services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, rotating equipment, and industrial maintenance practices.

Technical Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Infrared Thermography
  • Motion Amplification
  • Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA)
  • Vibration Analysis
  • Condition Monitoring Technologies
  • Ability to analyze inspection data and provide technical recommendations.
  • Experience in industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Utilities, Manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Thermography, Vibration Analysis, or Reliability disciplines will be an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong presentation and technical reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Candidate must currently be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Must possess a valid Saudi Iqama and legal authorization to work in KSA.
  • Visa sponsorship must be transferable.
  • Must hold a valid Saudi Arabian driving license.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within Saudi Arabia and GCC countries as required.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working with reliability and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with industrial inspection technologies and asset management practices.
  • Ability to engage with customers at technical and management levels.
