Job Summary
We are seeking a FinTech Support Specialist with a strong understanding of fintech platforms, APIs, and digital financial products. The role involves hands-on incident handling, integration support, and partner coordination. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot across application, data, and integration layers, working closely with fintech partners and internal product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure stable, secure, and high-performing fintech services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for fintech platforms and digital financial products
- Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution within SLAs
- Support API integrations with banks, payment gateways, wallets, and fintech partners
- Coordinate with external fintech partners and vendors for issue resolution
- Troubleshoot issues across application, data, middleware, and integration layers
- Monitor platform health, transactions, and system performance
- Support UAT, production releases, and post-deployment validation
- Maintain incident reports, RCA documentation, and knowledge base articles
- Work closely with product, engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in on-call rotations and production support as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in FinTech / Digital Payments / Banking Technology Support
- Knowledge of UAE fintech regulations (Central Bank guidelines high level)
- Prior experience working with banks or regulated financial institutions
- Strong understanding of fintech platforms, APIs (REST/SOAP), and integrations
- Experience with incident management frameworks (ITIL preferred)
- Hands-on troubleshooting across application, database, and integration layers
- Experience supporting digital financial products (payments, wallets, BNPL, lending, remittance, etc.)
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and issue analysis
- Experience with log monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
- Familiarity with authentication, security, and compliance (OAuth, encryption, PCI-DSS basics)
- Strong coordination skills with external partners and internal teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of microservices and middleware (Kafka, MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release management
