Application Support Engineer — Troubleshooting, Integration & Migration

Be the precision layer between enterprise clients and R&D — on production systems that some of Egypt's largest organizations run their daily operations on, including live AI. This is not ticket triage: you work from logs, APM traces, database queries, and architecture documentation to find the real cause of application-layer incidents, fix what lives in configuration, data, or integration, and hand R&D only confirmed, reproducible bugs. You also build data migrations from legacy systems and integrations with client platforms, in your own code.

What you'll do

• Lead application-layer incident triage across our enterprise products in production
• Investigate through application logs, APM traces, and direct database queries
• Resolve configuration, data, and integration issues; escalate confirmed bugs with reproduction steps an engineer can act on immediately
• Build data migrations from client legacy systems into our products — analysis, transformation, validation, cutover
• Design and operate integrations with client systems — endpoints, mapping, error handling, monitoring
• Own the support runbook and the R&D handoff discipline

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years in application support, integration engineering, or development moving into customer-facing technical work
• Mid-level development skills — enough to write integration code, migration scripts, and automation utilities
• Database depth across MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL — non-trivial queries, schema reading, data troubleshooting
• APM experience (New Relic, Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or equivalent) on real production issues
• At least one migration or production integration you personally built
• Arabic–English professional fluency; Egypt-based with client visits; comfortable with a limited on-call dimension
