Job Description

Purpose:

Responsible for programming, documenting, implementing, and supporting third party applications and integrating different products. Provide technical support on applications across the firm.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop integration solutions between third party applications and choose the technology that matches business requirements and technical constrains.
  2. Receive, investigate, and solve support cases concerning third party applications through email, phone and meetings.
  3. Test the modifications implemented on applications developed by the vendor or in-house before deploying to live servers.
  4. Follow-up with vendors to ensure product delivery within budget, on time and in line with business requirements.
  5. Develop functions and reports to extend the capabilities of third party applications and implement solutions to support cases and change requests with careful consideration of interrelationships between different applications and different applications modules.
  6. Assist in improving users experience and increase their knowledge in applications.
  7. Perform servers patching as scheduled by the corporate systems and security teams.
  8. Perform a periodical health check on servers and services to ensure proper functionality.
  9. Conduct periodical meetings with vendors to track support cases, have an overview on the upcoming releases and new features, and prepare a plan for the future updates and user's trainings.
  10. Document all aspects of architecture (including data structures, logical processes, hardware and OS environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls and security measures, etc.), installation manuals and technical manuals and update them when needed.
  11. Provide user training on third party applications and new releases for new hires and team members. Share technical and product knowledge with team members by organizing and providing product and technical training sessions as needed.
  12. Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of your role.
  13. Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.
  14. Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information technology.

0-2 years experience in software development support with up-to-date technologies, including exposure to enterprise databases, designs, and implementation.

Experience in:

  1. handling technical support cases, preferably in a large or multinational enterprise.
  2. backend databases in particular Oracle, MS SQL Server 2008 and higher, including development using SQL Server Objects, Transact-SQL, SSIS and SSRS.
  3. developing Windows Applications and Windows Services using C#, VB.net, Web Applications and Web Services using ASP.Net, CSS, and use of XML.
  4. using Microsoft SharePoint both Development and Infrastructure.

Experience in the following is a plus:

  1. Mobile Development, Hybrid and Native Apps.
  2. Version control tools and concepts (e.g. VSTS, Git Hub or Visual SourceSafe).
  3. Web server technologies including IIS.
  4. Crystal reports.
  5. OLAP, and BI tools.

Good command of Arabic and English.

Good communication skills (written, verbal and listening).

Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.

Multitasker, with the ability to meet challenging deadlines, and to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

Attention to details; ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.

Self-motivated and enthusiastic; a creative and resourceful independent thinker.

Flexible in handling of new tasks.
