ADA is looking for a hands-on application support professional to keep our business-critical enterprise systems — including our aviation MRO platform and a live ERP implementation — running smoothly and reliably. You'll be the go-to technical resource between our end-users and vendors, while also supporting ADA's AI and automation initiatives that make our operations smarter and faster.
This is a support role with real variety: one day you're resolving a defect with a vendor or configuring the MRO system, the next you're building a management report or helping test a new AI-enabled tool.
Responsibilities
Keep our systems running
- Support, configure, test and maintain ADA's enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Manage the day-to-day operation of our aviation MRO software in partnership with Engineering & Maintenance and the vendor, safeguarding availability and data integrity
- Support the ERP implementation end-to-end: configuration, data migration, integration, testing, defect resolution and post go-live stabilisation
Build the bridge between users, vendors and technology
- Act as the technical liaison between end-users and vendors on business-critical applications
- Gather and document business requirements, operational procedures and access needs
- Deliver first- and second-line application support and basic user training
- Develop application enhancements, interfaces and integrations between enterprise systems
Drive AI and automation
- Design, develop, integrate and test AI-based solutions supporting ADA's AI initiatives
- Prepare, cleanse and curate data for AI/ML use cases and identify opportunities for AI-enabled improvement
- Integrate AI, LLM and machine-learning services and APIs into enterprise applications
- Evaluate and prototype new software and AI tools, and support implementation of approved solutions
Turn data into decisions
- Build ad-hoc and scheduled reports using Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS, including extracts from the MRO solution
- Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data
- Perform statistical and strategic analysis to support business needs
Deliver with discipline
- Maintain technical and functional documentation — configuration notes, test cases, user guides
- Track open items to closure, provide status reports to the Head of IT, and escalate issues beyond your remit
- Comply with Information Security, EHS and all applicable ADA policies and regulatory requirements
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, with completed technical and AI/ML certifications
- 5+ years in IT application support or enterprise systems support — aviation sector experience preferred
- Hands-on experience supporting or implementing ERP systems
- Proven experience with industry-recognised aviation MRO software, including report and data-extract development
- Practical expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS
- Demonstrable AI/ML/Generative-AI experience — LLM integration, automation or data preparation — evidenced by certification or project work
- Working knowledge of systems such as Veryon Rusada (MRO) and Oracle Fusion (ERP), or comparable platforms
