A leading global investment firm is seeking an Application Support Specialist to support and optimize business-critical trading applications within a fast-paced trading environment. Working closely with traders, portfolio managers, operations teams, and developers, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, managing system onboarding, and ensuring the smooth operation of front-to-back trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for trading and business-critical applications across front, middle, and back-office functions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues while maintaining high service levels.
• Partner with traders, operations teams, and developers to improve system performance and supportability.
• Onboard new users and configure applications to support business workflows.
• Monitor production systems and participate in release testing and deployments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of application or production support experience.
• Strong Linux/Unix, SQL, and scripting experience (Python preferred).
• Experience supporting complex enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Financial services or trading environment experience is advantageous.
