Approvals Engineer

Approvals Engineer | Dubai, UAE

We are currently partnering with a growing Design & Build company in Dubai that specialises in the delivery of commercial office fit-out projects. This role will be responsible for managing the full approvals process, ensuring all required permits, NOCs, and authority approvals are obtained efficiently to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate authority approvals for commercial office fit-out projects.

• Prepare, review, and submit drawings and documentation to relevant authorities and building management teams.

• Liaise with authorities, landlords, consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout the approvals process.

• Monitor submission progress and proactively follow up to ensure approvals are secured within project timelines.

• Review drawings for compliance with authority regulations and submission requirements.

• Coordinate and address authority comments, ensuring revisions are submitted in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate records of approvals, permits, and related project documentation.

• Support project and design teams in resolving approval-related issues.

• Stay up to date with local authority regulations and approval procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• Previous experience in an Approvals Engineer, Authority Coordinator, or similar role within the UAE.

• Strong understanding of Dubai authority approval processes and regulatory requirements.

• Experience dealing with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, TECOM, Trakhees, and other relevant authorities.

• Experience within commercial office fit-out, interiors, or Design & Build projects is highly preferred.

• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Salary: AED 12,000 per month + Benefits
