The Opportunity

We're in an exciting phase of Middle East expansion, with leadership based in Dubai and a distributed global team. As our Operations Specialist, you'll transform plans into execution by coordinating projects, building scalable processes, and keeping cross-functional initiatives on track.

This isn't a back-office role. You'll be close to strategic decision-making, gain exposure across multiple business functions, and have significant growth potential as our regional operations scale.

The Role

We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Arabic-speaking Operations Specialist to support our Middle East business execution. This is a hands-on, project-driven role where you'll manage operational rhythms, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure key initiatives deliver on time and with quality.

You'll also provide Arabic language support in operational contexts (customer support materials, SOPs, vendor communications, market-facing updates) to ensure clarity, professionalism, and cultural appropriateness for GCC and broader MENA audiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Coordination
  • Own project plans for Middle East initiatives (launch readiness, marketplace operations, agency workstreams, CX improvements)
  • Run weekly operating cadence: agendas, decisions, meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups
  • Build and maintain project trackers (timelines, dependencies, risk logs, SOP checklists) to keep stakeholders aligned
  • Coordinate across time zones with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, CX, finance) and external partners
  • Proactively surface risks, trade-offs, and resource gaps with proposed solutions
Operations Execution & Documentation
  • Own operational documentation: SOPs, playbooks, templates, and checklists for repeatable execution
  • Improve workflows across tools (Google Workspace, Slack, project management platforms) and keep documentation current
  • Support vendor onboarding and coordination: scopes, deliverables, timelines, status updates, and escalations
  • Maintain operational dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility
  • Help establish lightweight systems for request intake, prioritization, and task assignment
Arabic Language Support
  • Review and refine Arabic copy for customer support, operational communications, and market-facing updates
  • Provide translation and proofreading between English and Arabic (business/marketing context; not legal translation)
  • Ensure Arabic templates (CX macros, FAQs, policies, shipping updates) are consistent and culturally resonant
  • Flag language nuances that may affect customer trust, brand perception, or escalation risk
What You BringRequired Qualifications
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken) must-have
  • Based in or able to work UAE/Gulf business hours reliably
  • 2+ years in operations, project coordination, or program management (startup/SME/fast-paced environments preferred)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; you enjoy building structure and keeping work trackable
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills (clear, concise, action-oriented)
  • Comfortable owning timelines, following up with stakeholders, and driving projects to completion
  • Tech-savvy with remote tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom; bonus for Asana/Jira/Trello/Notion)
  • Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information
  • Resourceful and calm under pressure; able to juggle multiple priorities without compromising quality
Bonus Experience
  • Experience in ecommerce/DTC operations (Amazon, Shopify, marketplaces) or CX operations
  • Experience in GCC/Middle East market, especially UAE or KSA
  • Vendor/agency management experience (scoping, timelines, deliverables, performance)
  • Exposure to launch management, process improvement, or operations analytics
