Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced ArcFM Instructor to deliver advanced corporate GIS and utility network training programs in Dubai. The ideal candidate must possess extensive hands-on experience in ArcFM configuration, utility GIS systems, ArcGIS platforms, and enterprise geodatabases, along with strong instructional and course development capabilities.
The instructor will be responsible for delivering advanced GIS, utility network, and water mapping related technical training programs and preparing professional course materials, lab exercises, presentations, assessments, and real-world case studies tailored for corporate audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led classroom and online corporate training sessions in Dubai
- Conduct advanced training on ArcFM, utility GIS systems, and ArcGIS-based workflows
- Prepare and customize:
- Training presentations
- Participant manuals
- Lab exercises
- Assignments and assessments
- Practical case studies
- Configure and demonstrate ArcFM utility workflows and GIS environments
- Provide hands-on exercises using ArcGIS Pro, ArcFM, and enterprise geodatabases
- Support participants during practical workshops and technical troubleshooting
- Ensure training quality, engagement, and learning outcomes
- Stay updated with latest ArcFM, ArcGIS Enterprise, and utility network technologies
- Coordinate with training management regarding schedules, course improvements, and participant feedback
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in:
- ArcFM
- ArcGIS Enterprise
- Utility GIS systems
- Enterprise geodatabases
- GIS-based water mapping applications
- Strong experience in:
- ArcFM configuration and administration
- ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Desktop
- Utility Network / Geometric Networks
- GIS data modelling
- Spatial analysis and hydrology workflows
- Ability to prepare professional technical training materials independently
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience delivering training for corporate clients and professionals
- Ability to conduct practical, hands-on technical workshops
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with electric, gas, water, or telecom utilities
- Experience with enterprise GIS deployment projects
- Knowledge of GIS-based water mapping workflows and hydrological analysis
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise integration and database management
- Relevant ESRI or GIS certifications preferred
- Prior experience in the GCC/UAE region is an advantage
