Purpose of the role:
Architects create designs for new construction projects, alterations and redevelopments. They use their specialist construction knowledge and high-level drawing skills to design buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing
Main responsibilities:
- Liaise with Landlords, developers, Development department and establish project design parameters
- Prepare conceptual designs, elevations, and perspective and obtain internal approval from OPS and Regional Manager.
- Prepare Detailed drawings and obtain franchisors and Landlord's approval.
- Liaise with Project Manager and ensure project is executed as per drawings, and specifications, by making requisite site visit.
- Prepare Final Audit after completion with specific emphasis on execution
- Preparing furniture and stainless-steel order list.
- Handling sites follow up - if redesign is required / any missing data is required.
- Monitor and audit work carried out by contractors to ensure that it is of the required standard.
- Reporting weekly progress and providing assistant manager with submission dates and approvals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, major architecture
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in architecture preferably in the same or like industry, i.e., Restaurants, Retail, Hospitality
- Specialist in 3D Concept presentations using Sketchup, 3D Studio Max for Architectural and Interior Design works.
- IT Skills MS Office, AutoCAD, 2D technical package, 3D Studio Max is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
