Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing architectural expertise and delivering high-quality design solutions. The role includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, overseeing design development, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting construction and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and review architectural design concepts, drawings, and specifications in line with project requirements and client expectations.
- Ensure architectural designs comply with international standards, building codes, airport regulations, and sustainability guidelines.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, MEP, and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of design disciplines.
- Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and quality assurance checks at various project phases.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and client presentations to convey design intent effectively.
- Support construction and commissioning teams by providing clarifications, site instructions, and design updates.
- Monitor project progress against design timelines and budgets, reporting any risks or issues to senior management.
- Mentor junior architects and design team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably airports.
- Proven experience with mega airport projects, terminals, or aviation-related facilities is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international building codes, sustainability standards, and architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary project teams.
