Project Overview
The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.
The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah - Riyadh highway.
Job Summary
In this role, you will plan architectural layout, prepare detailed design and layout drawings for small structures. You will use 2-D/3-D computer-aided design (CAD) to help prepare architectural designs and construction drawings. You will help prepare forecasts, quantity take-offs, and change orders. Your recommendations of design drawings will help ensure architecture complies with requirements.
Major Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
- Review contractor's Design drawings and provide clear actionable comments.
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress and resolve construction issues in a timely manner
- Perform work using Industry Standard Engineering Software and appropriate 2-D and 3-D computer-aided design and computer-aided engineering tool e.g Revit / AutoCAD / Sketchup
- Ability to prepare and deliver the power point presentation to customer for Architectural design approvals.
- Ability to perform and lead the inter-discipline coordination through BIM Model
- Ensure compliance to Quality governance frameworks
Education And Experience Requirements
BS degree in Architecture, from an accredited college or university with 2-4 years of related experience·
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Good knowledge of engineering deliverables, such as drawings, specifications, and material requisitions and construction methods.
- Registered with Saudi council of Engineers.
- Experience with Civil-3D/AutoCAD design tools.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and capable of decision making based on codes, standard and specifications·
- Preference will be given to a Saudi Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Good knowledge of Architectural space proofing.
- Good Knowledge of Saudi Building Code.
- Ability to perform interdisciplinary reviews
- Experience with Revit/CAD design tools.
- Experience with an Electronic Document management system (ACONEX or similar).
