As part of its continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Architect Engineer Team Lead to lead architectural teams, oversee design quality, and ensure the successful delivery of projects from concept design through construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of architects, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
- Manage the architectural design process across all project stages, from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
- Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve integrated design solutions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor project schedules, resources, and design deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Support value engineering initiatives and provide technical solutions to design challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement in design quality, team performance, and project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 8+ years of professional architectural experience, with proven experience leading design teams.
- Previous experience within an Architectural or Engineering Consultancy is essential.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction documentation, and project coordination.
- Proficiency in Revit is required, with solid BIM coordination experience.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Building Code and local authority approval processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering commercial, residential, mixed-use, or large-scale developments is highly preferred.
