Job Summary
The Architect is expected to manage all phases of architectural projects, from conceptual design through construction administration. This role demands a strong command of design principles, technical expertise in architectural software and construction methodologies, and exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors. The Architect will be responsible for developing innovative and functional designs, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, managing project budgets and schedules, and overseeing construction to guarantee adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs and solutions that meet client needs and project requirements
- Prepare and present compelling design proposals, including drawings, renderings, and models.
- Produce detailed and accurate construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Coordinate effectively with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to seamlessly integrate building systems.
- Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Administer construction contracts and oversee construction progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction quality and proactively resolve design issues.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Professional licensure as an Architect (or actively pursuing licensure) is preferred.
Required Skills
- 5 to 7 years of experience in architectural practice.
- Creative design skills and aesthetic sensibility.
- Technical proficiency in architectural detailing and construction documentation.
