Architect - Events & Exhibitions

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Architect to join an exciting international sporting event project in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design development and delivery of temporary event architecture, site layouts, and modular structures for a major international sporting event.

This is an ideal opportunity for an architect with experience in events, exhibitions, temporary structures, modular construction, or fast-paced project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural layouts and designs for temporary event structures and site installations.
• Prepare detailed construction and authority approval drawings.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, MEP, event production, and site teams.
• Translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions suitable for temporary and modular environments.
• Produce and update drawings, details, layouts, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure designs and documentation comply with relevant Saudi Arabia / KSA regulations and authority requirements.
• Support site teams during installation and respond to design and technical queries as required.
• Work effectively within tight deadlines and a fast-moving event delivery environment.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing and construction documentation.
• Experience preparing or coordinating KSA authority approval drawings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  
  

Experience Requirement

• Proven experience in temporary architecture, modular structures, exhibitions, events, festivals, or similar projects.
• Previous experience working on large-scale events or international projects in the GCC is highly desirable.
• Immediate / short-notice availability is an advantage.
• We are particularly interested in architects who can bridge the gap between design and execution — someone comfortable working with temporary, modular, and rapidly delivered structures and who understands the practical requirements of taking a design from drawings through to site installatio
