Architect Inspector

Khatib & Alami is looking for an experienced Architect Inspector to join our Dubai team for a prestigious Luxury Villas project.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of relevant architectural site inspection and supervision experience, with strong exposure to luxury villas, high-end residential buildings, façade works, aluminium systems, insulation and GRP works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out day-to-day architectural site inspections and supervision for luxury villa and high-end residential projects.
• Inspect architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, materials and project quality standards.
• Supervise and inspect façade installation and finishing works, including interfaces with architectural and structural elements.
• Inspect aluminium works, including aluminium cladding, doors, windows, curtain walling and related systems.
• Monitor and inspect insulation installation, ensuring proper application, fixing, continuity and compliance with approved specifications.
• Inspect GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) works, including installation, finishing, joints and interfaces.
• Inspect architectural finishes, including internal and external finishes, walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, joinery and other villa finishes.
• Review materials delivered to site and verify compliance with approved material submittals and project specifications.
• Monitor workmanship and identify defects, non-conformities and quality issues during construction.
• Coordinate with the Contractor, Consultant, Architect and other discipline teams to resolve site issues and architectural interfaces.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, method statements and inspection requests as required.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain proper inspection records, reports and documentation.
• Monitor contractor progress and ensure architectural works are executed in accordance with the approved programme.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and project procedures at all times.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical inputs related to architectural works.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural and other disciplines to ensure proper integration of architectural works.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in architectural site inspection/supervision.
• Strong experience in Building and Luxury Villa projects.
• Proven site experience in:

1. Façade works
2. Aluminium systems and installation
3. Aluminium cladding
4. Insulation works
5. GRP works
6. Architectural finishes
7. Doors, windows and external envelope works
8. High-end villa finishing works

• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Experience working as an Architectural Inspector / Architect Site Inspector / Architectural Site Supervisor on consultant-side or contractor-side projects.
• Good knowledge of quality control, inspection procedures and construction standards.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• UAE / Dubai project experience is highly preferred.
• Experience on luxury villas or high-end residential developments in Dubai/UAE will be an advantage.
