We are seeking a highly motivated Architect or Civil Engineer with 23 years of experience to join our team as a Junior Project Engineer / Architect. The ideal candidate will support our kitchen trading projects through detailed project documentation, site follow-ups, and technical support. This role requires strong technical understanding, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to manage multiple project tasks effectively.
Job Type: Full-time 6 days per week, 8 hours per day (Sunday is the weekend).
Key Responsibilities
Project Documentation & Technical Support
- Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive project documentation including drawings, shop drawings, material lists, and installation schedules.
- Review architectural layouts, MEP drawings, and site conditions to ensure proper kitchen design coordination.
- Assist in preparing technical submittals.
- Ensure all project documentation is organized, accurate, and up to date in both digital and physical formats.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate between the design team, site engineers, and installation teams to ensure accurate execution of kitchen projects.
- Track project progress and ensure timely submission of drawings, approvals, and materials.
- Report to Project manager regarding the production schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Assist in scheduling site visits, taking measurements, and verifying site readiness for installation.
Client & Vendor Communication
- Coordinate with main contractors and consultants and external partners to support project execution.
- Follow up on pending actions, approvals, or revisions with clients and project stakeholders.
Quality Control & Site Support
- Support site inspections to ensure installations follow approved drawings and quality standards.
- Identify any site discrepancies and coordinate solutions with the design and engineering teams.
- Report site progress and issues to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- 23 years of experience, preferably in kitchen shop drawing and documentations.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, measurements, and project coordination.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge in AutoCAD is required.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage timelines, and handle multiple tasks.
