Independently manage project largely involving master planning/ urban design work; provide assistance to senior team members in managing large projects.
Develop solutions that effectively address the social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form; modify and/or review drawings, construction documentation and detailing.
Provide project or task management to develop urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images.
Prepare bids and proposals as part of marketing efforts to current clientele and to identify and attract new clientele.
Providing project leadership, direction and business development in planning and urban design, together with project and client management.
Use knowledge of New Urbanism principals, as they can be flexibly applied to existing operating facilities, and planning theory as it relates to the redevelopment of commercial/ retail development to research recent, similar planning and architectural projects in order to provide up-to-date ideas to Management.
Essential Requirements
Bachelors/master&aposs degree in architecture, urban design, planning or similar discipline.
Excellent design, drawing and report writing skills in Urban Design and Master Planning.
You must have minimum 5+ years of UAE experience as a master planner / urban designer working on mixed development projects.
Proficiency in Auto CAD, SketchUp, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite software packages is a must.
