Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo or Alexandria for an Architectural BIM Team Leader. The individual will oversee BIM processes, manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, and ensure the execution of high-quality architectural design projects. Responsibilities also include mentoring team members, optimizing workflows, and ensuring project timelines and goals are met efficiently.

We are seeking a highly experienced Architectural BIM Team Leader to lead and manage the architectural BIM team across large-scale Commercial and Mixed-Use projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality BIM outputs, ensuring effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining full compliance with project BIM standards and execution plans.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Architectural BIM team across multiple projects

Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and best practices

Coordinate architectural BIM models with structural, MEP, and other disciplines

Review and approve BIM models and drawings to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time

Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to BIM team members

Participate in clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination meetings

Ensure full compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and client requirements

Support project teams in resolving design, modeling, and coordination challenges

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and experience with related software.
• Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design practices.
• Proven experience in Project Management and the ability to oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
• Team Leadership skills to guide and mentor team members, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
• Familiarity with local and international architectural standards and practices is beneficial.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture

Minimum 12+ years of experience in Architectural BIM

Proven experience leading BIM teams on large-scale Commercial and Mixed-Use projects

Advanced proficiency in Revit

Strong hands-on experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (Essential)

Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks)

Solid understanding of BIM standards and processes, including ISO 19650, LOD, and BEP

Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments

Gulf (Middle East) project experience is preferred

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
