We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Controller to oversee and monitor architectural activities on construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements while coordinating with project teams to maintain efficient site operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Verify the quality of materials, finishes, and workmanship on site.
- Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors regarding architectural activities.
- Identify and report non-conformities and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and document project progress.
- Ensure architectural works comply with project quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Review architectural shop drawings and related technical documents when required.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, observations, and site activities.
- Support project teams in resolving architectural and finishing-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the worksite.
Requirements:
- Diploma Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects, preferably in architectural or finishing works.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction practices.
- Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
- Ability to identify construction defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-related documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment.
