Key Responsibilities;
- Provide pre-sales architectural support, including local compliance review and technical validation of master plans and preliminary layouts.
- Communicate with clients and local consultants to understand requirements, develop design concepts and present master-planning proposals and design reports.
- Prepare and develop industrial/site master plans and preliminary architectural concepts in line with local planning, building codes and approval requirements.
- Coordinate with the international design team and guide the integration of local architectural requirements into project proposals.
- Identify potential design and delivery risks at the early EPC stage and propose practical solutions to improve constructability and reduce later changes.
- Support preparation of technical presentations, design documents and proposal materials for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support local design capability development by sharing knowledge of Egyptian/local standards, design practices and approval procedures.
- Participate in project coordination and provide architectural input throughout the relevant pre-sales and early design stages.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience with an architectural/engineering consultancy, preferably including industrial, factory, agricultural or EPC projects.
- Proven experience independently preparing industrial/site master plans and preliminary architectural designs and supporting local approvals.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian/local building regulations, planning requirements and approval procedures.
- Experience with EPC projects and an understanding of how early design decisions affect cost, constructability and project delivery.
- Ability to communicate design concepts clearly to clients and consultants and prepare professional technical presentations and documents.
- Experience with multi-region or international projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial/agricultural facilities and factory planning is an advantage.
- Good understanding of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and relevant architectural design tools.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Local architectural professional registration/licensing is an advantage.
Travel
Primarily Egypt; occasional travel to nearby countries according to project requirements.
