Architecture Draftsman

A leading real estate developer in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Architecture Draftsman to join its Architecture and Design team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate architectural drawings, detailed plans, and technical documentation to support the design and delivery of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
- Develop and update drawings based on architectural concepts, design requirements, and project specifications.
- Convert conceptual designs and sketches into accurate technical and construction drawings.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, interior design, landscape, and other disciplines.
- Review drawings to identify discrepancies, clashes, and technical issues before issuance.
- Prepare detailed drawings for authority submissions, tender packages, and construction documentation.
- Incorporate design revisions and consultant/client comments into drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards, applicable building codes, and Saudi regulations.
- Maintain organized drawing registers, revisions, and project documentation.
- Support architects and design managers throughout the design development and construction stages.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams when required.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and updating documentation following site changes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Architectural Draftsman.
- Previous experience within real estate development, architectural consultancy, or construction projects is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Good working knowledge of Revit is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and architectural documentation standards is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction drawings, materials, and building systems.
- Ability to read and coordinate structural and MEP drawings.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is an advantage.
