Architectural Finishing Engineer (Site)

Job Summary:

Responsible for supervising and executing architectural finishing works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all finishing activities on-site including plastering, tiling, painting, gypsum works, and flooring.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Inspect and approve completed works and prepare snag/punch lists.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth workflow.

Monitor subcontractors performance and productivity.

Ensure proper sequencing of finishing activities.

Conduct quality checks to ensure high-standard finishing output.

Prepare daily progress reports and update site records.

Submit inspection requests (IR) to consultant and follow up approvals.

Review quantities and request materials as per project needs.

Ensure all materials used are approved and comply with specifications.

Enforce health and safety (HSE) regulations on-site.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.

5–10 years of experience in finishing works (construction projects).

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of finishing materials and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Problem-solving skills on-site
