Job Description

Job Purpose:

Responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring that architectural works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, international standards, and client requirements. The role involves close collaboration with construction teams, contractors, and consultants to maintain high-quality construction and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, mock-ups, and material approvals.
  • Verify that construction meets project requirements, local codes, international standards, and airport-specific regulations.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances or defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design or construction issues promptly.
  • Participate in site meetings, inspections, and walkthroughs, providing technical guidance and advice.
  • Monitor adherence to construction schedules and report progress, risks, or delays to the Project Management team.
  • Ensure proper documentation of inspection reports, test results, and approvals.
  • Mentor and guide junior inspectors, supporting knowledge sharing and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in architectural inspection, quality assurance, or construction supervision, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.
  • Experience in mega airport projects, aviation facilities, or terminal buildings is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, finishing works, and international building codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, and inspection/reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
