Job Summary:
The Architectural Site Engineer (Site Supervisor) is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all architectural works on site to ensure they are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedule, and safety regulations. The role requires strong site management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver the project successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and manage all architectural works on site, including finishes, fit-out, and external works.
-Ensure construction activities comply with approved shop drawings, material submittals, specifications, and contract documents.
-Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines (structural, MEP, ELV).
-Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly status to the Project Manager.
-Inspect works on site to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to design intent.
-Review and verify architectural shop drawings, method statements, and material samples.
-Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and propose practical solutions.
-Ensure materials delivered to the site are approved and stored properly.
-Conduct site inspections, snagging, and de-snagging activities until final handover.
-Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities as required.
-Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site.
-Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation.
-Control and monitor architectural works related to variations and changes.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
-Professional certification or registration is an advantage.
Experience:
-Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Architectural Site Engineer or Site Supervisor.
-Strong experience in finishing works, fit-out projects, and coordination with MEP trades.
-Previous experience in residential, commercial, or institutional projects is preferred.
Technical Skills:
-Excellent knowledge of architectural drawings, details, and construction methods.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
-Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and installation techniques.
-Ability to read and interpret contract documents, BOQs, and specifications.
-Familiarity with quality control procedures and site inspection standards.

-Good command of English (spoken and written).
-Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and authority requirements.
-Willingness to work extended and flexible hours when required by project demands.
-Valid driving license. (Preferably own a car)
-Transferable iqama.
