Architectural tender engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architectural Tender Engineer role based in Cairo. The Architectural Tender Engineer will prepare and review tender documents, including technical proposals, bills of quantities, and cost estimates for architectural and construction projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with design and engineering teams, analyzing project specifications, and ensuring compliant, competitive bids. The role involves conducting site and document reviews, supporting feasibility assessments, and collaborating with project managers to align tender submissions with project goals and client requirements. The engineer will also assist in risk assessment, value engineering, and documentation for contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and design concepts.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering and Construction processes, materials, and methods relevant to tender preparation.
• Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating inputs for tender submissions.
• Demonstrated Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in tendering, quantity surveying, or contract administration in the construction industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in relevant design and estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Excel, costing tools).
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
