We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Area Managerto lead our Travel Retail business across the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent
The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and delivering performance for luxury fragrance and cosmetics brandsacross complex, high-growth markets.
This is a hands-on leadership rolewhere strategy meets execution from negotiating with airport operators and concessionaires, to mentoring field teams and ensuring world-class retail execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Travel Retail sales operations across assigned regions, ensuring achievement of revenue and growth targets.
- Develop and execute market penetration strategies, identifying new opportunities and expanding into untapped geographies.
- Manage key accounts, including Travel Retail operators, airport retailers, and concessionaires, and negotiate high-value commercial agreements.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, and commercial teamsto deliver brand launches, signature collections, and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct regular training sessions for Beauty Ambassadors and Promotersto ensure exceptional brand representation on the shop floor.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance metricsto generate actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing, cross-cultural teams, fostering a hands-on and results-oriented work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and operational standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 - 12 years of experiencein Travel Retail sales, preferably within luxury fragrance, cosmetics, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong track record of delivering commercial results across the Middle East, Africa, and Asian markets.
- Hands-on experience in market development, account management, and brand activations.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship managementskills with key operators, distributors, and retail partners.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-cultural teamsin fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and commercial acumen.
- Ability to travel regionally across MEA and the Indian Subcontinentas required.
- Arabic language is advantageous.
