Job Purpose:
Oversee the daily operations of the stores in an assigned geographic area, leading a team of store managers towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the assigned area's store performances and contributing in the development of an overall business plan, including sales strategies and profit goals.
• Perform territory and sales analyses, assessing the results and recommending adjustments to sales strategies accordingly.
• Oversee brand specific marketing and promotion activities are done timely within the stores.
• Ensure that the loss prevention policies, systems & procedures are implemented in the stores.
• Ensure store shrink is within company guidelines so as to protect company property and assets.
• Ensure that all customer service initiatives are in place and that issues are quickly and courteously handled.
• Visit and inspect stores in order to ensure proper functioning of the operation and the correct pricing and display of the merchandise.
• Collect information on market moves, identifying competitive actions, product introductions, etc.
• Undertake sound financial management, including continuous monitoring of figures related to manpower cost and store performance, to ensure stores are profitable and stay within budget.
• Direct the opening of new stores by ensuring the availability of needed resources and manage the closing of existing ones.
• Handle manpower planning and oversee promotion, transfer, and discipline of employees.
• Train, motivate, encourage, and provide constructive guidance to store managers and the team related to all areas of effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with company's policies and operational guidelines.
Dimensions:
• Oversee stores budget, sales and inventory performance and coordinate with Brand Manager to take corrective action.
• Contribute in achieving seasonal sell out targets.
• Monitor stores expenses and payroll budgets.
• Contribute towards the reduction of in-store employee retention rates.
Experience:
• Minimum 6-8 relevant years, with at least 3 years as an area manager, store manager or similar
managerial role in Inditex brands .
• Excellent abilities in financial and operations planning.
• Sound understanding of optimization of store operations and standards for success.
