Role Description

The Area Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for sales operations and business performance across the Cairo and Giza territories. The Area Manager will directly supervise 2 District Sales Managers (DSMs), each leading a team of approximately 10 Medical Representatives, for a total field force of around 20 Medical Representatives. Responsibilities include setting and driving achievement of sales targets, coaching and developing the DSM team, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, building relationships with key healthcare professionals and institutions, and ensuring accurate reporting and territory planning in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Science, or Agriculture is required (degree must already be conferred/graduated — not in-progress).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales, including experience in a supervisory or area management capacity.

Age not to exceed 35 years.

Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop District Sales Managers and field teams.

Strong business acumen, including territory planning, sales target setting, and performance analysis.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

Role Description The Area Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Gharbiyah, Egypt. This role is responsible for overseeing sales operations and business performance across assigned territories, ensuring that targets are met and growth opportunities are pursued. The Area Manager will lead and coach field teams, plan and execute territory strategies, monitor market trends, and maintain strong relationships with physicians, pharmacists, and key accounts. Daily activities include visiting customers, tracking performance metrics, coordinating with marketing and supply chain teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves preparing regular reports, analyzing data to optimize results, and representing Wellness Pharma's values and brand in all professional interactions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in area or regional management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Strong skills in sales planning, territory management, and performance monitoring.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop field teams to achieve and exceed objectives.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency with basic reporting and productivity tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in Arabic and good command of English; valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
