Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement merchandising strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Lead and manage a team of merchandisers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with clients to understand their merchandising needs and develop customized solutions.
Oversee the execution of merchandising plans in retail stores, ensuring product displays are attractive, well-stocked, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Conduct regular store visits to assess merchandising effectiveness and address any issues.
Prepare and present reports on merchandising performance, sales data, and market insights to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent English.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience working with major retail chains.
Knowledge of merchandising software and tools.
