Job Description

]We are looking for an experienced ]Art Director] to join our dynamic marketing department. The successful candidate will lead a team of graphic designers, overseeing the creation of compelling visual content that supports our marketing campaigns, private label designs, and overall brand identity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of graphic designers to produce high-quality visual content.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages creative thinking.
  • Develop and execute creative concepts for marketing campaigns, including key visuals, promotional materials, and in-store displays.
  • Oversee the design and development of private label packaging and artwork, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to translate strategic objectives into impactful visual designs.
  • Maintain and enhance the visual identity of our brands across all marketing channels.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual style in all creative outputs.
  • Work closely with the Brand Managers to develop and refine brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Allocate resources effectively within the design team to meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with external agencies, printers, and production companies when necessary.
  • Review and approve all creative materials before final production.
  • Ensure all designs meet technical requirements for various media (print, digital, packaging).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and technologies.
  • Introduce new ideas and creative approaches to enhance our marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or art director role.
  • Proven experience in creating designs for marketing campaigns, packaging, and branding, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
  • Expert knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, including campaign visuals and packaging design.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of designers.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate creative talent.
  • Ability to align creative concepts with marketing strategies and business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to articulate creative ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and requirements.
  • Familiarity with digital design, UI/UX principles, and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for design.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude.
  • Adaptable and open to feedback, with strong interpersonal skills.
